- Phase I embraces a pipeline with an internal diameter of 40 inches, running for 814 kilometres from the Sleipner area of the North Sea to a receiving terminal at Zeebrugge in Belgium.
- In addition comes a 30-kilometre line with an internal diameter of 30 inches from the Sleipner area to the Draupner S platform. This first phase of Zeepipe became operational on 1 October 1993.
- Phase II embraces the 40-inch Zeepipe IIA pipeline, running 303 kilometres from the Kollsnes Gas Processing Plant near Bergen to the Sleipner area, and the 40-inch Zeepipe IIB line which runs for 304 kilometres from Kollsnes to Draupner E.
