Description

  • Located over four blocks in the Mississippi Canyon area of the Gulf of Mexico, the Vito development will consist of eight subsea wells with deep (18,000 feet) in-well gas lift.
  • The development will utilise a semi-submersible Floating Production Unit (FPU)
  • Vito is expected to reach peak production of approximately 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day
  • The crude will be transported on the Mars Crude Oil Pipeline

Contractors

  • Jacobs Engineering: Front-end engineering and design (FEED) package and detailed engineering for the Vito host platform topsides
  • Sembcorp Marine: Construct and integrate the hull, topsides and living quarters of the Vito semi-submersible Floating Production Unit (FPU)
  • Subsea 7:
    • Project management, engineering, procurement, installation and pull-in of two 12” infield production flowlines with 10” steel catenary risers (SCRs), one gas lift flowline and SCR, and the umbilical system.
    • Transportation and installation of 50 miles of 18-inch oil export pipelines, 17 miles of 10-inch Gas Export pipelines and three miles of associated Steel Catenary Risers and pipeline end terminations
  • Oceaneering: electro-hydraulic steel tube control umbilical, and flying leads, totaling approximately nine kilometers (5.6 miles) in length
