Vepica´s experience in transport and storage projects for the oil and gas industry starts in 1978

Relevant experience:

Basic engineering of the 100 km. oil pipeline (50 km on land and 50 km on the sea) used to transport 470.000 bbl/d, from Campo Pedernales (offshore) to the deep water terminal at Güiria, Sucre, for BP/AMOCO/PDVSA, Venezuela.


  1. Zuata Oil Field
    • FEED, detailed engineering, procurement assistance and construction supervision of two oil pipelines measuring 210 km in length and 36" and 20" in diameter respectively, used to transport 425.000 bbl/d of crude oil and diluents, from Campo Zuata, located at the Orinoco Oil Belt, to the facilities of the Jose Industrial Complex, for CONOCO/PDVSA, Venezuela.
  2. Zuata Oil Field
    • Basic and detailed engineering of the gas pipeline measuring 16" in diameter and 130 km in length, connecting the Compression Plant at Campo Zuata, located in the Orinoco Oil Belt, to El Canton, which connects through a 70 km pipeline to the Facilities of the Jose Industrial Complex, and is used to transport 65 million ft³/d, for PDVSA, Venezuela.


Basic engineering for the improvement of the dehydration system at the GNL Extraction Plant in Jusepín, for PDVSA, Venezuela.


Conceptual and basic engineering of the new facilities for recovery of liquids from natural gas, from the crude oil storage tanks located at the flow stations of Carito and Pirital, Monagas, for PDVSA, Venezuela.


Basic engineering of the gas pipeline measuring 16" in diameter and 60 km in length located between the Bare Operational Center and the Güico Valve Station, Anzoategui. It is used for the transportation of 90 million ft³/d, for PDVSA, Venezuela.


Basic and detailed engineering of the gas pipeline measuring 26" in diameter, used to supply 120 million ft³/d to the facilities of Orinoco Mining, located at Matanzas, from the distribution station located at Pto. Ordaz, for PDVSA, Venezuela.
