Vankor Oil Field

The Vankor oil & gas field is the biggest field to have been discovered and brought into production in Russia in the last 25 years.
The project site is in the northern part of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which has little infrastructure and severe environmental conditions, including permafrost, swamps, and winter temperatures falling below 50 degrees.
The development includes a 300,000 bbls/day central processing plant, a 775 km pipeline, a terminal and marine offloading facilities

**SNC-Lavalin:**
- Concept validation and front-end engineering and design (FEED)
- Detailed engineering for its central processing facility
**RusGasEngineering:** Natural gas condensate processing and propane-butane fraction utilization plants

1988 - The Vankor Field was discovered
2005 - SNC-Lavalin was awarded a contract for concept validation and front-end engineering and design (FEED)
2006 - SNC-Lavalin was awarded a contract for detailed engineering for its central processing facility
2008 - Rusgasengineering awarded condensate processing design
2009 - Commercial production at the Vankor field began
2013 - 60 Millionth Ton of Oil Produced
2014 - CNPC signed agreement to acquire 10%
2015 - ONGC Videsh acquired 15%

Oil from the field is transported through the Rosneft-owned Vankor - Purpe Pipeline to the Transneft-owned trunk pipeline's tie-in point in the village of Purpe
Oil is then transported to the West and also to the East via the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean Oil Pipeline
