- 1901 - Refinery commissioned
- 2000 - Delayed coker constructed
- 2005 - Premcor signs agreement with Air Products for supply of hydrogen
- 2005 - One of four refineries acquired in the purchase of Premcor
- 2006 - Expansion project increased throughput capacity from 250,000 bpd to approximately 310,000 bpd, and expanded the coker unit capacity from 80,000 bpd to 105,000 bpd
- 2008 - Fluor awarded engineering, procurement, construction and construction management services contract for refinery upgrade
- 2012 - Refinery expansion project completed
