Products Produced

  • Most of the refinery’s output is gasoline, including low-sulfur fuels that produce lower vehicle emissions. The refinery also produces diesel fuel, aviation fuel, propane, kerosene and asphalt.

Projects

  • For detail see Toledo Refinery Upgrade Project
  • The refinery launched a $400 Million Reformer 3 equipment upgrade in March 2010.
  • KBR provided design and support services needed for the project, replacing two existing naphtha reformers and a hydrogen plant with a single, state-of-the art reformer. The new unit is expected to increase the refinery's gasoline yields, increase co-product hydrogen production and improve overall plant reliability. Additionally, the new equipment will assist the refinery in meeting future environmental regulations, with an anticipated air emissions reduction of more than five percent.
