- Today, the Texas Eastern system comprises more than 9,200 miles of pipeline
- Texas Eastern Transmission connects Texas and the Gulf Coast with high demand markets in the northeastern United States, supplying fuel for electric generation facilities and helping to meet peak-day demands. Texas Eastern can transport 6.7 Bcf/d and offers approximately 75 Bcf of gas storage
- Gas is supplied from Oklahoma through the [[[Ozark Gas Transmission Pipeline]]]
- Texas Eastern also connects to [[[Gulf South Gas Pipeline System]]], [[[East Tennessee Natural Gas Pipeline]]], [[[Panhandle Eastern Gas Pipeline]]] and [[[Algonquin Gas Transmission Pipeline]]] and is connected to the [[[Egan Natural Gas Hub]]] and the [[[Moss Bluff Natural Gas Hub]]]
