Description

  • Tengiz is the most deep-lying and biggest oil field in Kazakhstan and one of the world's ten largest
  • The development also includes the Korolevskoye field
  • Its depth is 3810 m, width – 19 km, length -21 km, oil mass thickness -1,6 km
  • Hydrogen sulphide is present in high concentration in Tengiz Crude Oil
  • The crude is exported via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium Oil Pipeline
  • The Tengiz Gas Processing Plant is under construction, which will separate Ethane from the gas

Future Growth and Wellhead Pressure Management Project (FGP-WPMP)

  • The project will increase crude oil production at the Tengiz oil field in Kazakhstan by about 260,000 barrels per day. The project is scheduled for completion in 2024
