Brief Description

  • Customers: Taipower’s Datan Power Station


History

  • 2009 - Facility Start-up Ceremony is held
  • 2011 - Shell and CPC announce LNG sales deal that will see Shell become one the main suppliers of LNG to Taiwan
  • 2012 - Expansion project launched
  • 2013 - Kawasaki awarded contract for tanks
  • 2019 - Phase 2 was commissioned taking capacity from 3.0 to 5.0 mtpa
  • 2020 - Sofregaz awarded contract for Phase 3
  • 2022 - Bechtel begins construction of the Phase 3 tanks
