Summary Information Ownership: Shanghai LNG (CNOOC) Website: http://www.cnoocgas.com/ CNOOC LNG Terminals Location: Shanghai, China Capacity: 3.0 million tons/annum Status: In Operation Brief Description Shanghai LNG Terminal and Underwater Gas Transmission Project is composed of LNG berth, terminal and underwater gas pipeline project. The terminal will be built in phases with a total capacity of 6mtpa. The first phase is 3 mtpa, and it includes a berth that can accommodate 165000 cubic meters LNG tanker, two LNG tanks with storage capacity of 160000 cubic meters each, underwater gas pipeline and other related facilities. Shanghai LNG overall project also includes gas-fired power plants and local distribution project. The terminal site is located on Zhongximentang Island of Shanghai International Shipping Center.
