Summary Information

The Project

  • Description: The project is located on the site of the S-Oil Ulsan Refinery. The new plant is planned to have the capacity to produce up to 3.2 million tons of petrochemicals annually and include a facility to produce high-value polymers
  • The plant will use TC2C technology, the first time it has been used commercially
  • Constructors:
    • Hyundai E&C consortium: Package 1 construction
    • DL E&C: TC2C construction
  • Licensors:
    • Aramco and Lummus Technology: TC2C technology
