- Project Type: Upgrading to produce clean fuels
- Project Summary: GOP
* UOP will provide Petrotrin technology for a CCR Platforming™ unit with a Chlorsorb™ system for reforming naphtha to produce high-octane fuel; a Penex™ unit for producing clean-burning gasoline; and a Merox™ unit for cleaning liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). * UOP will also revamp a fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit used to convert vacuum gas oil to gasoline, and upgrade the FCC unit with a third stage separator (TSS)
- Project Summary: ULSD
* The ULSD Plant is designed to process 40,000 barrels per stream day (BPSD) of diesel boiling range feeding stocks to produce a diesel product with a total sulphur of 8 ppm max, a total aromatics content of less than 25% wt and a cetane number of 51 min consistent with the most stringent and forecasted future on road fuel specifications
