+++ Description

  • Production fields lying at depths of between 950 to 2,500 metres below the seabed, south-east of the city of Vitória, in the [[[Campos Basin]]]
  • This development is the first development of subsea oil and gas separation and pumping in Brazil
  • Parque das Conchas is a three-phase project with initial production drawn from three fields: **Abalone**, **Ostra** and **Argonauta B-West**. The first phase, now on-stream, involves nine producing wells and one gas injector well. The second phase will focus on the Argonauta O-North field.
  • The field is operated using the [[[Espirito Santo BC-10 FPSO]]]. The FPSO, based on the conversion of a VLCC hull, has the capacity to process 100,000 barrels of oil and inject up to 75,000 barrels of water per day back into the reservoir. The unit, equipped with turbines able to generate 60 MW of electrical power for operating the facilities, is installed in a water depth of 1,780 meters.
  • Phase 3 of the project, will include the installation of subsea-infrastructure at the Massa and Argonauta O-South fields. These fields will then be tied-back to the Espirito Santo BC-10 FPSO

+++ Contractors

  • **SBM Offshore:** Lease and operation of the FPSO Espírito Santo
  • **Oceaneering:** hybrid subsea pump and steel tube production control umbilicals totaling approximately 50 kilometers (31 miles) in length
  • **Oceaneering:** hybrid subsea pump and steel tube production control umbilicals totaling approximately 30 kilometers (19 miles) in length and associated hydraulic flying leads for phase II
  • **InterMoor:** Fabrication and installation of four conductors in addition to one spare conductor for the artificial lift manifold
  • **Phase 3**
    • **FMC Technologies:** Supply includes seven subsea trees, two manifolds and associated subsea control systemsas well as tie-in connection systems and subsea distribution hardware and associated tooling and services
    • **Subsea 7**: Installation of jumpers, umbilicals and associated subsea structures
    • **Manatee:**
      • Oversight of template and conductor installation.
      • Dockside testing and installation of Subsea Tubing Heads and Subsea Trees using the Heave Compensated Landing System.
      • Installation of subsea separator with integral pumps.
      • Development and implementation of exclusion zones to mitigate the risk of dropped objects.
