  • 1997 - Pipeline operations commence
  • 2003 - BP acquires and extra 9.6% stake in asset swap with Hess
  • 2009 - Ecopetrol acquire shares from Enbridge increasing its stake from 35.3% to 60%
  • 2010 - BP sold a 24.8 per cent interest in the pipeline to Ecopetrol & Talisman along with various upstream assets
  • 2011 - Petrominerales acquired a five percent interest from Total
  • 2012 - Ecopetrol transferred its pipelines stakes to a new company Cenit
  • 2013 - Talisman sells stake in pipeline to Advent International
