Summary Information Ownership: Husky Website: http://www.huskyenergy.com/ Location: Lloydminster, Saskatchewan Capacity: 7.5 million tons/annum & 150,000 bbl/day Nelson Complexity: Refining Depth: Brief Description The facility processes heavy oil into high quality, low sulphur synthetic crude oil to be used as feedstock for refineries in Canada and the United States Refining Units Atmospheric Distillation Terminal Capacity Crude Oil: Refined Products: Crude Supply The feedstock for the upgrader is heavy oil from deposits in northeastern Alberta and western Saskatchewan, and bitumen from Tucker Oil Sands Project. Products Produced The main product produced is low sulphur synthetic oil The upgrader produces a high-value diesel fuel that is sold into the wholesale and retail markets.
