Description

• The NOAKA area is located between Oseberg and Alvheim in the North Sea and holds a number of oil and gas discoveries. The total recoverable resources are estimated at more than 500 million barrels of oil equivalents, and additional exploration potential has been identified. NOAKA is one of the largest remaining field development opportunities on the Norwegian continental shelf.
• The development concept for NOAKA represents a large degree of remote operation and automation. The plans consist of a low-manned processing platform in the southern area operated by Aker BP, an unmanned processing platform in the north operated by Equinor, in addition to tie-backs from several unmanned wellhead platforms and a large number of subsea wells.
• The partners plan to drill approximately 45 wells in order to reach the maximum potential of the resources in the area.

Geology
