Summary Information
- Operator: BP
- Country: Trinidad and Tobago
- Location: 50 miles off the south east coast of Trinidad
- Production start: 2017
- Partners:
- Type: Gas
- Estimated Reserves:
- Production Volume: 590 million standard cubic feet a day (mmscfd) - est.
Description
- The Juniper facility takes gas from the Corallita and Lantana fields located 50 miles off the south east coast of Trinidad in water-depth of approximately 360 feet
- The development consists of a normally unmanned platform together with corresponding subsea infrastructure
- It includes five subsea wells and has a production capacity of approximately 590 million standard cubic feet a day (mmscfd).
- Gas from Juniper flows to the Mahogany B hub via a ten kilometre flowline
Cypre
- The Cypre gas field is located 78 kilometres off the southeast coast of Trinidad within the East Mayaro Block, in water depth of approximately 80 metres.
- Cypre will include seven wells and subsea trees tied back into the existing Juniper platform via two new 14 kilometre flexible flowlines.
- At its peak, the development is expected to deliver average gas production of 250-300 million standard cubic feet a day (mmscfd).
Matapal
- The Matapal project developed the gas resources discovered by BPTT in 2017 with the Savannah exploration well. The project is a three-well subsea tie-back to the Juniper platform
Contractors
- Technip: design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, load out and mechanical completion of topsides, jacket, flowlines, subsea structures and tie-in spools
- Gulf Marine Fabricators: Construction of the jacket and piles
- TOFCO: Construction of the platform topsides
Cypre
- Subsea 7: concept and design, engineering, procurement, construction and installation of a two-phase liquid natural gas tieback to the Juniper platform through dual flexible flowlines and a manifold gathering system, along with topside upgrades.
