- The Islay Field is located 440 kilometers northeast of Aberdeen in 120 meters of water
- Islay’s single well is tied-back to the Alwyn North platform, the central platform for the Greater Alwyn Oil and Gas Fields via existing subsea infrastructure
+++ Contractors
- **Technip:** Installation of a 6-kilometer ETH-PIP, control umbilical, subsea structures and seabed preparation, including detailed design, engineering and project management
- **Dril-Quip:** Subsea control system equipment which includes a subsea fiber optic network communication system, two subsea control pods and a HIPPs (High Integrity Pressure Protection) system with its own subsea control pod
