Description

  • The Huntington Field was a subsea development located in block 22/14b in the Central North Sea, 230km

east-northeast of Aberdeen, in a water depth of approximately 89 metres. The Field was tied back to the Voyageur Spirit FPSO, where produced fluids were processed.


Contractors

  • **Wood Group:** Five year operations and maintenance contract to provide asset management services for the FPSO
  • **Xodus:** FEED study
  • **Subsea 7:** Installation of 12km of the 8-inch Gas Export pipeline, installation of infield flexible flowlines, main static umbilical and associated risers as well as installation of subsea structures followed by tie-ins, pre-commissioning and system testing.
  • **Sevan Marine:** FPSO Voyageur Spirit upgrade

History

  • 2007 - Completion of the first stage of appraisal drilling

Geology

  • Three discoveries in three horizons have been made in the licence; the Forties formation, the Fulmar formation and the Triassic Skagerrak formation
