Golden Pass LNG Export Terminal Project

The proposed project would have the capacity to send out approximately 15.6 million tons of LNG per year. It involves construction of additional facilities to the existing Golden Pass LNG Terminal
New infrastructure required to export will be located on the existing property, which currently contains two berths for LNG tankers, five storage tanks and access to the Golden Pass pipeline.
The expanded facility would then have the capability and flexibility to both import and export natural gas.

Storage capacity: Tyhe project will use the five existing 155,000 cubic meter, full-containment LNG storage tanks

- CB&I / Chiyoda: Front end engineering design (FEED) services contract

Customers: Ocean LNG is an international joint venture marketing company, owned by affiliates of Qatar Petroleum (70%) and ExxonMobil (30%) will buy all of the LNG

2012 - Golden Pass applies to the DOE to be able to export natural gas to nations that have existing free trade agreements (FTA) with the United States
2014 - CB&I / Chiyoda awarded FEED
2019 - Final investment decision taken
2019 - Ocean LNG signs takeoff agreement
2022 - Qatar Energy signs agreement to buy 70% of the gas volume
