- The field originally had its own Floating Production Facility, The Northern Producer
- Produced oil and gas is exported, to the Tartan A platform and from there, oil is piped to the Flotta Terminal, and gas to the St Fergus Terminal.
- In 2006, Talisman announced that it was to redesign the field as a subsea tie in to the [[[Tartan Oil Field]]], to reduce costs and extend field life
