Description

  • The Marnock field is the centre of the Eastern Trough Area Project (ETAP)
  • It comprises two small steel platforms, one housing processing facilities and the other utilities and accommodation.
  • The CPF comprises two bridge-linked steel jackets and topsides which separate the living quarters, utilities and control rooms from the wells, risers, processing and compression facilities and the export hub for produced oil and gas.
  • A normally unmanned installation (NUI) over Mungo stands around 20km to the east of the CPF. The other fields in the ETAP development are all subsea tiebacks. These fields are;

    • Machar Oil Field
    • Madoes Oil Field
    • Mirren Oil Field

  • The Life Extension Project will extend the life of the platform to 2030 and improve its operating efficiency
  • The Seagull Oil Field is being developed as a tie back
  • The Murlach Field is a development that consists of a two production well subsea tie-back to the Central Processing Facility (“CPF”) by tying into infrastructure
