Description

  • The East Hub project foresees the production of the Cabaça North and South-East discoveries
  • It will utilise the Armada Olombendo FPSO, converted from a VLCC class tanker
  • The FPSO will utilise an external turret with 18 risers and umbilicals connected to the turret. The FPSO will also have a storage capacity of 1,800,000 barrels while having a crude oil production rate of 80,000 bopd* oil production, 120,000 bwpd* water injection and 120,000 MMscf* gas handling capacities.

Contractors

  • **Bumi Armada:** Supply and operation of FPSO
  • **Keppel:** FPSO conversion including refurbishment and life extension works, upgrading of living quarters to accommodate 100 personnel, installation and integration of an external turret mooring system and topside process modules
  • **FMC Technologies:**
    • Subsea production systems
    • subsea multiphase boosting pumps, manifolds, and installation support services
  • **Technip:** Project management and manufacture of about 15 kilometers of dynamic and static steel tube umbilicals
