- 2003 - BG Group and Petroplus form Dragon LNG which is given ownership of the site
- 2003 - Petronas acwquires a stake
- 2004 - The project partners in sign agreements to trigger go-ahead
- 2007 - Air Products awarded contract to Supply Nitrogen
- 2009 - Terminal is commissioned
- 2013 - Petronas signs supply agreement with Qatargas
- 2015 - Shell acquired BG Group and became a partner
- 2019 - Ancala acquired a 50% stake from Petronas
