- This field is part of the Liverpool Bay Development, along with Hamilton Gas Field and Lennox Oil Field
- The Douglas complex is located approximately 23km off the North Wales and English coastlines and consists of an accommodation unit, a processing platform and a wellhead tower which are bridge linked.
- The stabilised export crude oil from the Douglas Complex is piped 17 km north to the OSI . The OSI is a purpose-built barge that is permanently anchored.
- The Douglas platform acts as a processing centre for a number of fields including the Lennox Oil Field and Hamilton Gas Field
- The Conwy Oil Field is being developed as a subsea tieback
