Suppliers / Customers

  • Suppliers: It will be supplied from the Senoro Gas Field Development and four fields in Matindok Block
  • Customers:
    • PT Donggi Senoro LNG has signed a head of agreement (HoA) with Japan’s Chubu Power Co. Inc stipulating that the company would be supplied with 1 million tons of LNG per annum from the plant for twelve years.
    • Kogas may buy 0.7 MPTA of LNG and Kyushu may buy 0.3 MPTA of LNG
    • It supplies LNG to the Arun LNG Import Terminal

History

  • 2006 - Pertamina decided to build an LNG terminal for the Matindok and Senoro blocks
  • 2007 - Pertamina-Medco And Mitsubishi Agree On Senoro Gas Price
  • 2010 - The Indonesian government agreed to allow 70% of the natural gas to be exported
  • 2011 - Final Investment decision taken
  • 2011 - JGC signs turn key agreement

  • 2015 - First cargo shipped

Other Information

  • The project was originally expected to cost a total $3.7 billion -- $2 billion for the LNG plant and $1.7 billion for upstream infrastructure.
  • Donggi Senoro LNG joint venture raised the cost estimate for the downstream 2 million mt/year liquefaction plant by 40% to $2.8 billion
