Summary Information
- Operator: Santos
- Country: Australia
- Location: 80km northwest of the port of Dampier
- Production start: 2011
- Partners: Santos
- Type: Gas
- Estimated Reserves: The Reindeer field proven and probable (2P) reserves are estimated at approximately 485 Petajoules of sales gas and 1.6 million barrels of condensate.
- Production Volume:
Description
- The development consists of an offshore gas field, Reindeer and an onshore gas processing plant, Devil Creek
- Reindeer gas is produced via an unmanned, minimum facility wellhead platform located in 65 metres of water
- The WHP is a four leg jacket with one skirt pile per leg and four level topsides with an integrated helideck location on the upper deck. A single 406 mm (16”) subsea and offshore gas pipeline links the WHP to an onshore gas treatment plant (the Devil Creek Gas Plant).
- The raw natural gas will be processed and then supplied into the Dampier To Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline. A second commercial product derived from the gas stream will be condensate. Devil Creek will initially provide up to 110 Terajoules (TJ/d) per day for the Western Australian domestic gas market and has been designed to process up to 220 TJ/d of natural gas
