+++ Description

Located approximately 175 kilometres offshore from Goldboro, NS, the Deep Panuke project involves processing natural gas offshore and transporting sales quality gas to market.
First gas is expected in the second half of 2012.
The project includes a Production Field Centre (PFC) in a water depth of approximately 45 metres, four production wells at start-up and one well for the safe disposal of hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide.
The Deep Panuke production facilities consist of a jack-up type of production platform that is designed to produce up to 300 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of natural gas
The gas will be transported to market on the Maritimes and Northeast Gas Pipeline

**SBM Offshore:** Production platform construction
**Acergy:** Installation, burial and tie in of circa 17km of 8” infield flowlines and umbilicals to four production wells as well as an acid gas disposal flowline
**Aker Solutions:** Transport and installation of wellhead protection structures
**INTEC Engineering:** Subsea and pipeline design
**Claxton Engineering:** Supply of subsea risers, interface connections and personnel for drilling and completions operations

- Detailed design of 22" 173km gas export pipeline
- 4 offshore 8" infield lines together (total length ~15km) with 3" Acid Gas Injection Line (1.7km) OOS analysis

2007 - NEB gives approval for subsea pipeline
2007 - INTEC Engineering awarded the subsea and pipeline design
2008 - Aker Solutions signed a contract for the transport and installation of wellhead protection structures
2008 - Acergy awarded contract for flowlines and umbilicals
2013 - Production started
