+++ Description

• Clair Ridge is a £4.5bn development announced by BP and its coventurers ConocoPhillips, Chevron, and Shell in October 2011. It is an extension of the giant Clair Oil Field
• Two new, bridge-linked platforms and oil and gas export pipelines were constructed as part of the Clair Ridge project. The new pipes were:
  • A 5.5-kilometre, 22-inch oil export pipeline tying into the Clair Phase 1 export pipeline.
  • A 14.6-kilometre, six-inch gas export pipeline tying Clair Ridge into the West Of Shetlands Gas Pipeline System
• It came onstream in 2018 and will produce up to 120,000 barrels of oil per day at peak.
• The Clair Ridge development, is the first sanctioned large-scale offshore enhanced oil recovery (EOR) scheme using reduced salinity water injection (LoSal® EOR).
• Oil and Gas are to be transported from Clair Ridge to Sullom Voe Oil Terminal

• **Subsea 7:** project management, engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation of a 6km 22” oil export pipeline and a 14km 6” gas export pipeline connected to the new production facilities and existing Clair Phase 1 export systems
• **Hyundai Heavy Industries:** Construction of platform topsides
