Description
- The Cendor field is located in the northeast corner of Block PM304 in about 70 metres of water with principal producing horizons in the H Group of Middle Miocene sands. Base reserves are estimated to be 20 million barrels of oil with significant upside potential.
- The development of the field, involved the first mobile offshore production unit (MOPU) in Malaysian waters connected to a spread moored floating storage and offloading unit (Cendor FSO) via a flexible submarine pipeline.
- The second phase of development involved the Cendor II FPSO and was commissioned in 2014
- It will utilise 2 wellhead platforms, CDW-B & CDW-C
- After Cendor the West Desaru, Irama and East Cendor fields were developed in the same Block
Contractors
- **SK Petroleum:** Cendor Phase 2 Wellhead Platform
- **MMCOG:** Engineering Support Services for Cendor Phase 2 Development
- **SapuraKencana:** Provision of Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) of Wellhead Platforms (CDW-B and CDW-C) for Cendor Phase 2 Development Project
- **FoundOcean:** Grouting for Cendor Phase II - CDW-B & CDW-C
- Anggerik Laksana: Platform for West Desaru
