  • Capuava Refinery (Recap), in Mauá, São Paulo State, is the company’s first plant with zero effluent discharge.

History

  • 1954 - Refinery commissioned
  • 1974 - Petrobras took over the refinery
  • 1999 - RFCC commissioned
  • 2003 - Propylene Separation Unit commissioned
  • 2009 - The first oil from the Pre-Salt Tupi accumulation in the Santos Basin was refined at this refinery
  • 2012 - New gasoline and diesel hydrotreatment units were commissioned
