Description

  • The development consists of four fields, Cravo, Lirio, Orquidea and Violeta
  • These fields are located in Block 17 offshore Angola in water depths of 1,100 to 1,400 m
  • The project comprises 34 wells and 8 manifolds connected by 180 km of subsea pipelines to the Clov FPSO unit
  • The gas produced on CLOV will be exported via a subsea line to the onshore Angola Soyo LNG Terminal liquefaction plant
  • Begonia The Begonia Project will collect oil and gas from the reservoir, via a subsea-to-subsea tie-back to the existing FPSO

Geology

  • The development will produce two types of oil: one with a 32 to 35° API gravity from the Oligocene reservoirs (Cravo-Lirio) and the other, more viscous, with a 20 to 30° API gravity from the Miocene reservoirs (Orquidea-Violeta)
