Description

  • The field was developed as a sub sea tie-back to the Heather platform, which is situated 7km to the east of Broom
  • The field was previously known as West Heather & North Terrace
    • The West heather structure was developed with three production wells and two water injection wells
    • The North Terrace structure was developed with two production wells and one water injection well.

  • **Kvaerner Oilfield Products:** supply and install a fully integrated system of subsea Christmas trees and control systems
  • **Technip:** design, fabrication and installation of a pipe-in-pipe production flowline(1) which will be trenched and backfilled. The work also includes a subsea structure, spoolpiece(2) tie-ins, repositioning of a flexible riser(3) and rockdumping for upheaval buckling

  • 2003 - Lundin acquired the field from DNO
  • 2004 - First oil production
  • 2005 - Phase 2 Development Successfully Completed
  • 2010 - Technip awarded augmentation pipeline contract
  • 2010 - Enquest becomes owner following demerger from Lundin
  • 2013 - MOL acquires a stake from Wintershall
  • 2022 - MOL agrees to sell its stake to Waldorf

  • The lower part of the reservoir section of the field is in the Broom Formation of the Middle Jurassic Brent Group
