Description
- The Brae platforms lie some 220 km from the UK coast and 8 km west of the median line with Norway. There are three platforms, - Brae Alpha, Brae Bravo and East Brae
- All three platforms are Manned
- These installations act as a regional hub for oil and gas production and export from various Marathon Oil operated and third party operated fields and subsea tiebacks
- The Centrica, Birch, Larch and Sycamore Fields as well as the Talisman Enoch Oil Field are tied back to the Brae Alpha
- The Braemar Oil Field and the Devenick Gas Field are subsea tie backs to the East Brae platform
- Production from the Beinn and Bracken Fields as well as the Kingfisher Field are processed on Brae Bravo
- Condensate from the Heimdal Gas Field is received at Brae
- Oil is exported via the Brae - Forties pipeline to the Forties Pipeline System
- Gas is transported to the SAGE St Fergus Gas Processing Terminal via the Scottish Area Gas Evacuation (SAGE) Pipeline
