+++ Description
- Atlantis is located approximately 125 miles south of New Orleans in the vicinity of Green Canyon Block 743 in approximately 6,500 feet of water. The Atlantis field covers six blocks.
- Atlantis employs an integrated concept of a Production Quarters (PQ) semi-submersible platform supported by a separate dedicated semi-submersible mobile offshore drilling unit (MODU)
- Atlantis is the 10th largest field in the USA in 2013
- Together, the three fields account for more than 1 billion barrels (gross).
- Oil and gas is transported to existing shelf and onshore interconnections via the [[[Caesar Oil Pipeline]]] and [[[Cleopatra Natural Gas Pipeline]]] systems, which are part of the [[[Mardi Gras Offshore Oil And Gas Pipeline System]]]
+++ Contractors
- **DSME:** Semi-submersible hull construction
- **Mustang Engineering:** Responsible for concept engineering, FEED, detailed engineering design, procurement, construction management, commissioning assistance and project management
- **J. Ray McDermott:** Fabrication of the Atlantis topsides
