- 1965 - First cargo loaded
- 2006 - Repsol & Sonatrach sign agreement to develop train 3

- 2008 - Sonatrach awarded Saipem/Snamprogetti, in a joint venture with Chiyoda, the lump sum turn key contract encompassing the EPC (engineering, procurement and construction)
- 2014 - First gas from train 3
