Crude Supply

• Gasoline, diesel, JP-8 and JP-5 jet fuel, asphalt, LPG, and solvents

• The Alkylation unit is being revamped, using solid state catalysts to replace Hydrofluoric acid

History

• 1995 - Gary-Williams purchased the then 45,000 barrel per day petroleum refinery from Kerr-McGee Corporation.
• 2006 - Fire in the Alkylation Unit
• 2007 - Refinery expanded to 70,000 bpd and Diesel Hydrotreater commissioned
• 2010 - Addition of FCC Gasoline Hydrotreater
• 2010 - Fire in the Hydrocracker
• 2011 - CVR announces acquistion of Gary-Williams Energy Co
• 2012 - A boiler explosion killed a member of staff
• 2019 - Alkylation project launched
• 2023 - Engineering and construction phase launched for alkylation project
