Description
- Ula is an oil field in the southern part of the North Sea. The water depth in the area is about 70 metres. The development consists of three conventional steel facilities for production, drilling and accommodation.
- The wellstream from [[[Blane Oil Field]]] and [[[Tambar Oil And Gas Field]]] are tied to the Ula field for processing
- The oil is transported by pipeline to [[[Ekofisk Oil Field | Ekofisk]]] and then by the [[[Norpipe Crude Oil Pipeline]]] to Teesside.
- All gas is re-injected into the reservoir to increase oil recovery. Gas from [[[Tambar Oil And Gas Field | Tambar]]] is also used

Geology
- The main reservoir is at a depth of 3 345 metres in the Upper Jurassic Ula Formation. The reservoir consists of three layers, and two of them are producing well.
