History

  • 1966 - Refinery commissioned with a capacity of 50,000 barrels per day
  • 1973 - Expansion of Refinery from 50,000 to 70,000 barrels per day
  • 1985 - Expansion of Refinery from 70,000 to 90,000 barrels per day plus addition of FCC
  • 1995 - Expansion of Refinery from 90,000 to 150,000 barrels per day
  • 1997 - Revamp of Visbreaker Unit completed
  • 1999 - Expansion of Refinery from 150,000 to 190,000 barrels per day
  • 2000 - 2.0 Million TPA DHDS Project completed
  • 2010 - Refinery capacity increased to 190,000 barrels per day
  • 2017 - The upgrade and expansion project was completed
